The Zurich International Term Assurance policy provides cover for your life and for many illnesses and injury related risks that could significantly affect your way of life. It gives you invaluable peace of mind for a reasonable premium.

What you get with a Zurich International Term Assurance policy

Additional cover

Add any combination of additional covers including critical illness, permanent and total disability, and waiver of premium benefit.

Low premiums

Get high levels of coverage for relatively low premiums, based upon your circumstances. The minimum monthly premium is USD 30.

Flexible terms

Choose a plan term from 5 to 35 years, with cover from USD 100,000 to USD 20,000,000.

What's covered

A cash sum will be paid if the insured person dies, a partner or person on a joint policy dies, or both.

Type of cover What it provides
Life cover Cash sum if you die during term of policy, or if you have less than 12 months to live (provided that the diagnosis occurs before the last 18 months of the policy term).
Critical illness (optional) Cash sum if you are diagnosed with one of the 34 critical illnesses covered by the policy during the policy term.
Permanent and total disability (optional) Cash sum if you become permanently and totally disabled during the policy term.
Waiver of premium (optional) Policy premiums paid if you are unable to work through illness or accident.

Who can apply?

You can apply for International Term Assurance if you:

  • Live in the UAE at the time you apply[@productportability]
  • Are aged 21 to 49
  • Already bank with HSBC Bank Middle East Limited
