Migrating your assets to WorldTrader
All eligible customers and assets will be migrated to the new platform, unless you opt out. We've sent you an email explaining your options and enabling you to select the one you want. Moving your assets from Pershing to Interactive Brokers UK means a change of your custodian location from Jersey to the UK. We suggest you seek independent taxation, legal or other professional advice before your decision.
Once you select your option in the email, the buttons will be deactivated. If you have a joint account, we will action the first response we receive. Should you change your mind, you'll need to contact us directly.

Opt in
If you're happy to be migrated to WorldTrader and open an investment account with Interactive Brokers UK, our wealth team will contact you to help you open your new account. We'll transfer your assets after 13 July 2024.
Opt out
If you don't want to be transferred to our new platform, you need to provide details of your chosen custodian before 30 November 2024. Then we can help you to move your assets to them and close your Pershing investment account.
What happens if you don't make a selection?
If you don't select an option, your current investments will be migrated to the new platform after 13 July 2024.
What happens next?
If you opt in or do nothing, after the end of the 60 days period, we'll start the migration process. Following the migration, we'll stop submitting customer orders to your existing broker/custodian HSBC Bank plc or Pershing Securities Limited/Pershing (Channel Islands) Limited.
We'll let you know when you can download the HSBC WorldTrader app and complete the journey to open your investment account. All new orders happen in HSBC WorldTrader and any dividends or proceeds are paid to your HSBC WorldTrader funding accounts in respective currency.
