How to add a new payee and make a domestic transfer
Add a new payee:
- log on to mobile banking app and go to 'Pay and Transfer'
- tap on 'Pay & Transfer'
- select 'Add a new payee'
- select a 'payee account type' from the list available
- enter the required payee details
- check the new payee details and select 'Continue'
Make a domestic transfer:
- log on and select 'Pay and Transfer'
- select 'From' to choose the account you'd like to transfer from
- select ‘To’ to choose the account you'd like to transfer to
- enter the amount you want to transfer
- check your transfer details and select 'Confirm'

The actual time to complete a transaction may differ from estimates due to increased scrutiny of transactions by the financial institution or entity providing financial services to the beneficiary of remittances.
For recall of payments, please contact us by any of the means listed at https://www.hsbc.ae/help/contact/. We may charge payment recall fee. We cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to recall the payment successfully.
We use the HSBC foreign exchange rate to work out the VAT charges on foreign transaction fees.

Things you should know
To keep you safe when you send money to someone for the first time with online banking, we’ll ask you to authorise your transfer by generating a one-time transaction code on your Secure Key.
This security step verifies your credentials and increases security against possible fraud attacks caused by malware.
